I went to Life Balance with lower back pain and tightness in this area. After several months of chiropractic treatment the pain has gone, and my flexibility has increased. The team were fantastic, friendly, easy to talk to,  always happy to answer any questions and arrange appointments around my busy work and personal schedule. I’ve been treated for 10 months now and I could not speak more highly of the wonderful clinical team as well as the smiley faces on the front. I have seen significant neurological changes from issues that I have had long term. My recovery, mobility and strength has also all increased as a result of the treatment. Since having my daughter, my hips had never felt quite right. I’d also developed a sharp pain around my left shoulder blade and a stiff neck, which was probably not helped by constantly carrying and picking up my very clingy toddler! It had started to affect more than I realised. Housework was uncomfortable, looking after the children felt harder, and being in pain was beginning to affect my mood. I’d even started avoiding certain everyday movements because I was worried I might hurt myself. Someone recommended Life Balance Chiropractic and spoke so highly of the team that I decided to give them a try. I travel from West Parley for my appointments, and it has genuinely been worth the journey. From the beginning, I was really impressed by the new client process. I felt properly listened to, rather than rushed through an appointment, and everything felt personal, smooth and thorough. Seeing my X-rays was particularly helpful because it gave me a much clearer understanding of what was going on. The findings were explained in a way that made sense, and I could finally see why certain things might have been contributing to the way I felt. I started noticing a difference after my first two sessions. Before coming to Life Balance, I would wake up several times during the night in pain and assume I must have slept awkwardly. Recently, I slept through the entire night for the first time in ages. That might sound like a small thing, but when you have young children, waking up with more energy and less pain makes a huge difference. I’m no longer in pain while looking after the house and the children, and picking up my toddler feels so much easier. Harrison is an amazing and incredibly precise chiropractor. Chris has also been brilliant, particularly when working on my hips. He is extremely thorough and pays attention to how my whole body is responding, including muscles and areas I would never have thought were connected. There have been areas that felt incredibly tense before an adjustment and noticeably more relaxed afterwards. I’ve really appreciated that they don’t just focus on the one place that hurts. They look at the bigger picture. The biggest change is that I feel much more confident in my body again. I’m no longer avoiding normal, everyday things because I’m frightened I’ll hurt myself. Being in less pain and sleeping better has made family life feel much easier and more manageable. Everyone at Life Balance is warm, welcoming and genuinely personal. The team always greets me by name, and you never feel like you’re simply the next appointment in the diary. You feel properly cared for. I would absolutely recommend Life Balance Chiropractic in Poole, especially to other mums who haven’t felt quite right since giving birth. I have been going to life balance Chiro now for 9 weeks. All the staff are very professional and really friendly. From my first appointment dr Chris and the team have been working on my back issues and I’m feeling the benefits. I have seen an amazing difference in just a few weeks, I have struggled from a young age with my joints. My jaw was cracking every time I ate and was getting painful, with the help of Chiro I can now eat without pain and very few cracks. I attended life balance for a free spinal health check up, as I was suffering with back and neck pain on a daily basis, mainly due to my job but past trauma to my neck has contributed over the years. I had a thorough assessment, X-ray’s and a past history account and had a future plan put in place. I started by having two sessions a week for the first two months and had  seen a noticeable difference within a few weeks, hardly any headaches, no migraines , barely any pain at the end of a busy working week and also my posture is a lot better then before. I am now having treatment once a week and then spreading out to every couple of weeks in the near future. I was very anxious to start off with due to the sensitivity/pain in my neck area but with reassurance and patience from my chiropractor Chris, I feel I have made massive improvements, not just in my work life but in my home life and also with my energy levels too.
